How do I sign up?
It only takes a minute to fill out our seller registration form, and a representative will reach out to discuss program options. Go to https://www.ingredientsonline.com/sell to begin registration.
What programs do you offer and how do they work?
There are multiple programs you can sign up for depending on the needs of your business. The program you select will determine how your orders are fulfilled, how you manage your products in the Seller System, our take rate (if applicable), license fees, and how you interact with buyers. For more details on the programs, go to https://www.ingredientsonline.com/sell.
How do you qualify sellers?
We prioritize quality and transparency. Our sellers undergo a self-audit factory qualification process. Our quality control department reviews your submitted questionnaires and certifications.
We serve a very specific industry. Do you have a market for my ingredients?
It’s very likely that we serve your market. We provide ingredients to various industries ranging from food and beverages to nutrition, cosmetics, animal nutrition, sports nutrition, and more. We have more than 10,000 registered members, and that number continues to grow. Let’s schedule a meeting so one of our knowledgeable sales reps can tell you more about our programs and the customers we serve.
How does order fulfillment work?
Order fulfillment depends on the program you select. For the Seller Direct program, customers place orders on the website, the GWI (Green Wave Ingredients) warehouse personnel will pick the order, process it, and ship it out. For the Seller Direct Drop Ship program, the customer places the order online and the seller receives an order fulfillment request. The seller will process the order and ship it out of their warehouse directly to the customer.
How do I get paid?
Once the order gets shipped and invoiced by GWI to the customer, you will be able to see that order in your sales report in the Seller System. Two weeks before the payment is due, you will receive a notification that the invoice for that sales order is ready to be reviewed and submitted for payment in the Seller System.
How do returns work?
Any product returns must adhere to our return policy. https://www.ingredientsonline.com/return-policy. Your assigned dedicated account manager will work closely with you to ensure a smooth return that is processed according to the policy.
How will you market my products?
Ingredients Online has a multi-pronged approach to marketing and lead acquisition. Our funneling strategies will take a potential buyer from lead to prospect to customer using channels such as SEO, paid ads, email marketing, social media, events and tradeshows, and outside sales. In addition, you will have access to on-site marketing opportunities such as leaderboard ads, other display ads, and dedicated product carousels on valuable homepage real-estate.
What types of users will be viewing my product listings?
Our users range from purchasing, R&D, QC specialists, and contract manufacturer procurement agents to executive level management. We have a user qualification process to ensure that only finished goods manufacturers and their contract manufacturers have access to your listings.
What if I do not have a customs broker to help me import my products to the United States?
We work closely with our own logistics company, East West Logistics, who can provide all customs broker services to you. We will connect you with them directly to assist with all your customs needs.
What if I want to sell my products to my own customer outside of the website?
You will work together with your assigned AM to create a “Seller Release” order that will enable you to pick up your product. Of course, storage fees, inbound and outbound charges will apply.
